Skin Diseases:

Skin Diseases are the condition of skin in which they get infected or destroyed by many factors.

Types of Skin Diseases:

1.  Infectious or Communicable

2.  Non infectious or Non communicable.

Infectious or communicable: Disease which can transmit form one person to another by any mode of transmission and caused by many communicable biological factors (Virus, bacteria, Fungus and other parasites).

List of some bacterial Diseases, their Symptoms and Treatment:

1 Folliculitis Staphylococcus aureus Infection of hair follicles of head that causes red swollen bump. Medicated shampoo prescribed by doctor and a towel deep in worm water gives  relief.
2 Furunculosis (Boils) Staphylococcus aureus Deep bacterial infection of hair follicles, of skin. It can be treated by simply by self care measure but if it reaches to blood vessels then it can be severe.
3 Impetigo (School sore) Staphylococcus aureus It is a superficial skin infection characterized bu pustles and honey colour. Many options are available for it like antibiotic cream, ointment and antibiotic syrup.
4 Batryomycosis Staphylococcus aureus A chronic inflametory response of skin rare occurs. It can be treated by giving long term antibiotics e.g Erythromycin, Doxycycline.
5 Cellulitis Streptococcus pyogenes Painful red infection, worm to touch. Treated by giving some antibiotics e.g. clindamycin and vancomycin.
6 Rheumatic fever Streptococcus pyogenes Fever, abdominal pain and muscles aches. Its take long time more than one year.

4 Jock itch Tinea Pink or red rash in groin rash Micnazole and clotrimazole.

1 Chickenpox herpes varicella-zoster virus Itchy rash on torso to the neck,face and limbs. Some antiviral drug like aciclovir.
2 Measels rubeola virus Fever, runny nose, cough and red rashes symptoms appear with in 9-11 days after infection. There is no specific medicine is available in the market.
3 Roseola Herpes virus 6 High fever up to a week and red pinkish rashes appears to the trunk, face and hands. Tylenol or ibuprofen are the drug available in the market but consult to doctor too.
4 Small pox Variola virus High fever, chills, headache Vaccination only.

 

Non infectious or non communicable Diseases: These are basically known as disorders. Causing agents can be Living thing (Biological) or no biological (Sunlight) and allergy.

1 Acne Hormonal changes White heads, blackheads, small bumps, and nodules and cysts. Benzoyl peroxide , antibiotics and retoinoids are used for the treatment.
2 Eczema Genetic  disorder normally but some time environmental factor and fungus also. Itchy, dry, thickened skin There is cure of eczema, only can be reduce it.
3 Skin Cancer Sunlight and other harmful rays Pigmentation of skin,scaliness and tenderness. Chemothrapy and  some drugs are given to patient.
4 Psoriasis May be genetic and weeken immune system Red,raised, inflamed patches of skin,dry skin that may crack and bleed. There is  no cure and no treatments. Medication is only   to reduce inflammation and scales, slow the growth of skin cells, and remove plaques.

 

Advice : Never give asprine in the case of viral fever.
