Until now, doctors are struggling to find out a complete solution for its cure. There is no antiviral therapy, and no vaccination reported for Nipah virus till now. There is no vaccination for this disease neither for humans nor for animals. The infected patients are therefore given a supportive care for its treatments because it can be overcome and defeated.

As of now, the treatments are only being limited to providing a supportive care to the patients. However, every possible measure is being taken to prevent the virus from spreading any further. A vaccine is being developed to beat the cause of this epidemic, however, it is a promising task altogether. WHO has already passed this order for the medical researchers and experts to the device the vaccination and related treatments at their earliest.

Treatments are mostly focused on controlling the fever and other symptoms. Severe cases may need to be kept in ventilators. The diseased are generally kept in isolation and intensive care units. Although there are no absolute vaccination or cure for this disease, however, preventive measures can be taken to lock the virus from spreading further.
