The last time I had sex was 7 weeks ago. My period is 3.5 weeks late. It’s never late, I keep getting negative pregnancy tests, but in my last pregnancy it was detected at 2.5 weeks pregnant. I have a copper coil fitted. But when my period was due it was a tiny bit of blood and brown staining.

Implantation bleeding is very much common , as in your case it was tiny bit of blood and brown staining. However, in your case it is unusual that the copper coil has failed to prevent pregnancy. Still, get a complete blood test for beta hcg and Ultrasound to determine the exact status of foetus.
