I was wondering if type 1 diabetes could have very early warning signs like i had pain in my pancreas and at the same time blood sugars of over 200 but then returned to low 100s after the pain went away. Could this be a possibility that i could end up with type 1 diabetes in my 20\\\’s like many of my ancestors?

Type 1 diabetes is considered genetic to some extent. People who have type 1 diabetes can help prevent or delay the development of complications by keeping their blood sugar in a target range. They also need regular medical checkups to detect early signs of complications. If complications are treated early, the damage may be stopped, slowed, or possibly reversed. Keep a close watch on your blood sugar level and focus on your diet and regular exercises.
