Yoga (in Sanskrit योग) is a group of Physical, Mental and Spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in Ancient India. The origin of this practise have been speculated to date back to Pre – Vedic Indian Traditions, it is mentioned in the in the Rigveda. In Vedic Sanskrit, this means “to add”, “to join”, “to unite”, or “to attach” in its most common literal sense.
One of the beauties of the Physical Yoga is that the poses support and sustain you no matter how old or young, or fit or frail, you come to your mat. As you age, your understanding of Asana becomes more sophisticated.
