Hello when I was 4 and a half years old I had bacterial meningitis. I am now 22 and I found out about that only recently. I would like to know is there a possibility that meningitis caused brain damage to me and what is the best way to check that ? Which scan would show the best if bacterial meningitis that I’ve had caused maybe brain damage? Or some other tests? And would it be visible after 18 years ? Thank you very much.
