Medical Question & AnswersCategory: QuestionsPossible eardrum issue?
Dominik asked 6 years ago

Licked girlfriends ear. Tongue was inside her ear canal just being stupid. She pulled away. I think I had a grip on her ear with my tongue also. Not sure as it was so fast. Her ear hurt and she lost hearing. Hurt so much she started crying. Almost a day later she says it’s hurting less and hearing is better but it still hurting and hearing is hard.
Is this serious? What should we do?

It might be due to saliva entering the ear canal or due to the pressure created by tongue inside the canal. It is not something you should worry about and it will clear off in a day or two.
