57 days ago I received unprotected oral sex from a sex worker ( not proud of it, I hate the idea of being that weak ) Regardless of the low HIV risk I have 4 negative tests ( 4th gen test at 16 days; 3rd gen test at 35, 41 and 51 days ). I am now deeply worried about HPV, the kind that causes warts on the throat. I might have been infected. I think I might be able to touch warts on my throat with my index finger (as far as I can reach). I am deeply scared. Could I have been infected of larynx HPV if I received the oral? Could I have been infected with larynx HPV if my penis touched possible warts on her throat? I went to see an infectious disease expert last wednesday and he checked me, he told me to forget about HIV since I received oral sex and I have 4 negative tests. He actually checked my throat apparently with an otoscope and said everything looked fine, however, they would not have been seen with the otoscope because of the angle, I think. Please help me, I am deeply troubled!!

Human papilloma virus (HPV) could spread through oral sex. If you feel that there is something like wart inside your mouth, you should get it checked by a professional doctor. HPV is the most common cause for mouth and throat cancer; so this should not be ignored.
