My boyfriend has to get back to Chile from Spain to donate marrow to his sister who has acute myeloid leukemia. Do they transplant the marrow to the recipient straight away, or do they freeze it for later. It\’s just his passport runs out 30th July and it takes 4 months to renew it in Spain. I was just wondering if it is possible for him to go maybe next week and they can freeze the marrow?
