I am a female 18 year old. I am on the contraceptive pill, which I take regularly each night. On Friday I had unprotected sex, which lasted approximately 1 min, however my partner did not ejaculate and we had checked for pre-ejaculation beforehand. That night I took my pill 5 hours late. I am now on my 3rd sugar pill and have not yet got my period. Is it possible that I am pregnant? Or is it possible that I am late because I am stressed for my first day of uni tomorrow?

If you miss a pill, you should take the pill you missed as soon as you can. If you take the pill less than 24 hours after you were supposed to and it’s not the first week of a new pack, you don’t need a back-up method—just take the pill you missed and relax. If it’s the first week of a new pack of pills, you’ll want to use a back-up method like condoms if you have sex in the 7 days after missing your pill. In your case, it was just 5 hours delayed and moreover, the boy didn’t ejaculated inside. So, there lie very feeble chance of getting pregnant. The delay in period might be because of stress or hormonal imbalance and you will get period in coming few days. Don’t overburden yourself.
