The year 1987 was a milestone in the history of health care in Kerala when the visionary, Dr.K.G. Alexander had a dream and vision to make quality healthcare affordable and accessible to all. This desire and the mission to meet the growing healthcare needs of the region culminated in the formation of Baby Memorial Hospital (BMH) which revolutionised the very concept of healthcare in Kerala.
BMH is a tribute to late K.C. Varghese (lovingly called ‘Baby’ by all), father of Dr. K.G. Alexander, our Chairman and Chief Physician. What started as a 52 bed hospital, is today the unrivalled and unparalleled leader in healthcare;
